It is recommended you change your wireless channel when you are experiencing a weak wireless signal OR
you are having other connection issues wirelessly.
Note: Before starting the wireless setup procedure, please be sure to have a computer connected directly
to the modem via Ethernet cable.
- Open your Web Browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc) and type http://10.0.0.2 into the address bar,
press enter. The router Configuration Manager will prompt you for a Username and Password:
You will now be logged into the router Management Console. Click the Wireless setup button located at
the top of the page.
On Wireless setup, locate Default Channel. You will have to change the Default Channel.
This is the frequency on which wireless signal is sent out. It is recommended trying channels 1, 6 or 11.
Click Save Changes followed by Write Settings to Flash to apply the settings.
With the channel changed, try the connection now. If you are still having the same issue, try another
channel. You might have to try all the channels to see if any of them make a difference.
