If you have exited from the modem you must first establish communication with it.
- Depending on your computer's operating system you may have a Zoom Web Console icon on your desktop.
- If you do, double-click it to display the Network Password dialog box.
- If you do not have a Zoom Web Console icon on your desktop, open your web browser, type http://10.0.0.2 and press Enter to disply the Network Password box.
Type the following letters, the default User Name and Password.
- User Name = admin
- Password = zoomadsl
The Basic Setup page will display indicating that you are now communicating with your modem. In order to see the Firmware Version (Please do not confuse this with the Showtime Firmware Version), click the System Status icon at the top of any page.
Please Note: If you know your Zoom modem is in pure bridge mode, and connected directly to your PC, simply disconnect the DSL line from the back of the Zoom modem and restart your computer. This will allow you to connect to the Zoom Confguration Manager (Web Console). Once the firmware version is retrieved, simply re-connect the DSL line to the modem and restart your computer to restore your internet connection.
